Sighting Report for May 31, 2017!!

Whales galore once again!!!  The morning started off with reports of our residential orca population being sighted along the San Juan Island and possible Bigg's Orca sighted off the Victoria waterfront.

Our morning expeditions choose to head south to 'humpy land' to search and explore for large baleen animals before making their way to the orca sighting reports.  However, whilst they were searching a report came in of Bigg's Orca to the west.  Our trips headed that way to encounter the T100s, which were apart of the same group we interacted with yesterday.  It was a great encounter for all of our guests onboard - followed by interacting with numerous pinnipeds at Race Rocks ecological reserve, which were elephant seals, harbour seals, sea lions and the cute sea otter grooming itself in the kelp bed.  Our afternoon expeditions had a much similar encounter and weather conditions so smooth it made butter jealous.

Today is looking promising once again and we are all ready to get out on the boats again and start the adventure all over again.
