Sightings Report for July 30th 2017

An incredible day in Victoria, with sunny skies and low winds it was easy to spot the local cetaceans as they surfaced to breathe!

Our fleet caught up with humpback whales throughout the day, morning reports of individuals near Race Rocks came in before the Captains left the dock! A mother and calf were encountered as they fed and relaxed, the mother gave our guests great shots of her famous tail fluke while baby had a great time breaching nearby!

Our tours stopped by Race Rocks Ecological Reserve to see the seals and sea lions as they took in the sun and rested. Ollie the local sea otter was also spotted wrapped up in kelp taking an afternoon nap.

Stay tuned for what we encounter this week!
