Sighting Report for June 11, 2017

Sunshine and calm seas made everyone excited to get out on the water and explore the coastline for cetacean species.  Our morning expedition headed west on a unconfirmed report of whales in the Juan De Fuca Strait.  All of our guests were thrilled to enjoy encountering a huge humpback whale, along with watching sea lions, seals & bald eagles at Race Rocks Ecological reserve.

The afternoon expeditions headed out and actually picked up a pod of 4 Bigg's Orca near Race Rocks ecological reserve, which everyone was amazed by! Along with orca; the afternoon expeditions also got to interact with a few humpback whales too.  Not a bad way to spend a sunny Sunday!  Great job Captain Gordon & Russ!!

Todays weather forecast is looking great to be on the water once again with sunshine and calm seas.  Can't wait to get out on the water to see what awaits for our guests today ~ Stay Tuned
