Sightings report for July 25th 2018

Happy hump day! It's already the middle of the week, and there has been so much action in the Salish Sea!!

We've had so many great encounters lately! Today a large group of Bigg's Orca (mammal eaters) were picked up right off the Victoria waterfront! We love when they are close to home!! They were actively hunting and socializing throughout the day, often seen breaching and playing with one another!! In the afternoon, all four of our boats caught up to Split Fin the humpack whale and resident Orcas! At Race Rocks, there was plenty of activity all day with seals and sea lions galore!

~ Stay tuned!!
