Sightings Report for August 12th 2017

A strong wind came through the city pushing the smoke out of the area and bringing the direct sunlight!! The high winds made for rough seas but also provided adventurous rides for our guests.

We caught up with several pods of Biggs Orca (mammal eaters) as they searched the Salish sea for their prey.

We also got to interact with several humpback whales as they fed and relaxed in the Juna De Fuca Strait. Lots of seals and sea lions were seen sun bathing at Race Rocks Ecological Reserve, enjoying their Saturday afternoon!

Due to increasing winds and deterioirating water conditions our sunset cruise had to be rescheduled/cancelled.

Stay tuned for whats next!
