Sightings Report for August 10 2017

What a beautiful day in Victoria!

Our fleet caught up with Biggs Orca (mammal eaters) throughout the day! They were seen hunting and successfully making a kill in the morning. Once their morning snack was finished they became playful and were seen socializing throughout the afternoon as they searched the Salish Sea for more prey!!

We also caught up with humpback whales that are feeding and relaxing throughout the Strait! And a stop by Race Rocks Ecological Reserve provided great pinniped sightings such as seals and sea lions!

Stay tuned for what we encounter today!
